Waiheke Island

The Orchard Garden, near Alexandra, Central Otago, is another of my favourite wedding venues.

The gardens, as their names sake implies, have been converted from old orchards. The high hedges create a maze and several secret garden rooms for the ceremony, drinks gatherings and photos. The reception room is in the beaut old fruit packing shed, full of character and warmth.

Alexandra Orchard Gardens is one of may favourite Central Otago wedding venues for photography. With the maze and interlinked high hedged gardens, Orchard Gardens offers so many choices of space for your ceremony and photos. The gardens also offer shade and protection from wind, both very important on your wedding day.

I've been so fortunate to have photographed several wonderful weddings at Oliver's in Clyde and it is one of my all time favourite venues in Central Otago.

Beautifully restored by owners Andrea and David Ritchie, Olivers recently reopened its fabulous wedding venue, accommodation, restaurant, cafe and craft brewery.

The gardens and courtyard are perfect for the ceremony and drinks and the venue provides character wedding reception room and accommodation all in one place.
