In Conversation with Oneself is our 6th collaboration and builds on a collaborative practice that has spanned collaborations in 2020 Portrait, 2021 Bannockburn Project, 2022 Corridor and Before, While, Rest Past , 2023 and 2024 Video.
Katherine Minor
Katherine Minor is a soloist dancer with the Royal New Zealand Ballet. Katherine is also a ceramicist with keen interest in philosophy and writing.
Celia Walmsley
This collaboration with friend and artist extraordinaire, Katherine Minor is particularly special as we continue to build collaborative artworks that combine our phylosophical and narraive ideas and dance and photographic disciplines.
As a photographer my artwork primarily centres on collaboration with dancers and choreographers and explores the oxymoronic relationship between stillness and movement, photography and dance.
