Danseys Pass Hotel Wedding

Rachel & Grant

From flying in by heli to transporting the bridal party in their vintage car and big yellow Mac truck, Rachel and Grant did it their way.

Danseys Pass Hotel was perfect in everyway for their 45 family and friends to gather and have exclusive use to celebrate and have fun.

Danseys Pass even diverted the road past the hotel so that guests can step out and connect with the ceremony site and gardens, giving Rachel and Grant the whole space.

The I Dos

The stone ruins infront of Danseys Pass Hotel was the perfect ceremony location fro Rachel and Grant's.  Framed by the stone walls with gardens all round it provides a private, peaceful spot for the family and friends to gather.

That moment when Rachel walked down the aisle is one of my favourites.  I can feel the excitement.

The bikes passing on the detour road gave Rachel and Grant a big fanfare, which produced the best smiles for me.

Then there's the special time when family and friends come to congratulate afterwards.  Here under the cool of the trees in Danseys Pass Hotel gardens.  Champagne, of course, is served and very welcome.  It's thirsty work getting married!

Now's my time to capture all the family and friends together and individually, including the fun ones.

A few Quiet Moments

We snuck away for a romantic photos after the excitement of the arrival and ceremony.  I always suggest this as it gave Rachel and Grant a few quiet moments together before the party.  Yes I'm on a long lens to give you precious time together.

Party Party

The restaurant was perfect for their 45 family and friends followed by 1st dance, cakes and celebrations by the fire in the lounge.

What they said

'We had the absolute pleasure of having Celia photograph my in-laws’ wedding at Danseys Pass, and we are honestly still blown away by the experience and the photos.

From the moment we met her before the wedding we knew she was going to be perfect. she arrived morning of the wedding with heaps of informative coms prior, Celia brought such a calm, warm, and professional energy that immediately put everyone at ease knowing the photos were handled exactly what you hope for on such an emotional day.

The setting at Danseys Pass was already breathtaking, but Celia somehow made it look even more magical through her lens. She captured every moment so beautifully—from the smallest details to the biggest emotions. The candid shots, the heartfelt exchanges, the laughter, the happy tears—every single image tells a story.

One of the things that really stood out was how naturally she connected with everyone, especially the older family members who don’t really do photos or like being apart of photos. Celia blended in so seamlessly that it never felt like we were being "photographed"—she just became a part of the day. And yet, the moments she managed to capture were pure perfection'.
