Queenstown elopementĀ

All the way from the UK via Aus, Sophie and Andy chose Aotearoa New Zealand for their special day.  As we headed out in the helicopter to Skippers Canyon the blackest, angriest storm clouds raced towards us over the Southern alps.   With quick thinking Jeremy, our lovely pilot, make the decision to change direction before it hit us.  We changed course and landed on Te Tapu-nui, meaning place of intense sacredness (also known as Queenstown Hill) in the shelter of Ben Lomond.  The sun magically broke through clouds at the exact moment of this very beautiful ceremony.  Such a wonderful day and special place for this gorgeous couple to exchange their vows.

Location:  Te-Tapu-Nui (Sacred place), Queenstown Hill, Queenstown, Aotearoa New Zealand
