Central Otago Wedding at Perseverance Vineyard

Kate and Nich chose Perseverance Vineyard as it has special significance for them and their closest friends. In Alexandra, surrounded by vineyard, golden  tussock and the Dunstan Mountains it reflects eveything that is true Central Otago.

Getting ready is all part of the ritual.  It's also all part of the fun.  And fun we had in bucket loads.

I love 1st Looks.  It's one of the most precious moments of the day when you get to see each other for the first time all dressed up and, most importantly, spend a few quiet moments together.

It's quite possibly the only time you'll actually spend alone together until you collapse at the end of the night.

Kate & Nich chose to do their 1st Look in the Hall at The Perseverance Estate.  This beautifully peaceful, grand, cool place gave them privacy to enjoy the moment together.  

So much love, so much laughter.  Stunning memories to treasure forever.

Ever thought of playing paper, scissor, stone to decide who reads their vows first?  Well Kate and Nich did.  How's that for a clever idea?

Did I mention that Kate and Nich's was one of the most fun weddings I've been invited to photograph.  Well, much of that is due to the bridal party.  Siblings and long-time friends who know you so well that you don't need to ask, they know what you need and are there right by your side enjoying every moment and joke with you.

Such a special day to have all your bestest people with you.

It's incredible how, as soon as the vows are made, you can relax and enjoy every moment.  And relax and enjoy Kate & Nich and all their whanau did. 
On a stunning hot Central Otago evening they laughed and shared stories and danced.
